Church of St. Pantaleon

Rua Sao Pantaleao Centro, Sao Luis, Brazil

Description:

The Church of St. Pantaleon is a church built in honor of the 4th century Great Martyr Pantaleon. He was a doctor, and therefore it is believed that this saint patronizes medicine.

The church is located in the city of San Luis on Piazza Square. The church of St. Pantaleon itself is small, in two floors. The facade of the building was completed in 1806 by the architect Giuseppe Valadier. On the walls you can see icons of saints and images of liturgy processes.

The church is open to visitors from 7 to 8 am and from 11 to 12 pm on weekdays. On Saturdays and Sundays, weekend masses are held in the church of St. Pantaleon.
