Republic Square in San Roque

Sao Roque, Brazil | Centro

Description:

The Place de la Republique in San Roca is a wide street in the center of the city, which locals sometimes call Largo de Santiago.

Initially, a chapel was built in this place in the XVI century, which has survived to this day, then trade rows were formed around it and only after that the square was formed.

Now Republic Square is a favorite place for people to walk and meet. There are many trees and flowers planted here, there is a small fountain of interesting round shape, and the paths are paved with neat tiles.
