The Art Museum in Espiritu Santo is the only museum dedicated exclusively to visual art. It was opened in 1998 in a neoclassical building built in 1925 in the historic center of Vitoria.
Five exhibition halls, a foyer, an auditorium with technical equipment, a library with 700 titles in the field of art, architecture and design, as well as 122 films are located on an area of more than 800 square meters.
The museum exposition includes works by local and national artists, including Homer Massena, Rafael Samu, Antonio Parreiras, Franz Kreisberg and others.
The museum has educational activities aimed at working with schoolchildren.
