Description:
The Inga Archaeological Monument is one of the most intriguing and mysterious rocky monuments on the planet. It is a rock of gneiss with an area of about 250 square meters. This vertical wall is 46 meters long and 3.8 meters high, on which very mysterious records are carved, the meaning of which is still unknown.
Most of the carved symbols are figures of animals, people, fruits, constellations and other unknown images. Historians call several versions of the appearance of these images: from the ancient indigenous peoples who lived here 6 thousand years ago and ending with unearthly creatures.
Inga Stone is located near the small town of Inga, 96 kilometers from João Pesoa, the northeastern state of Paraiba.
