Intermares Beach

Intermares Beach is a surfer beach near João Pesoa. In addition to high waves and stormy currents, the beach is also interesting for turtles that live in the local waters.

Intermares completes the northern necklace of beaches in Paraiba state. In the sands, local turtles make masonry, and when little turtles hatch from eggs, part of the beach is closed to the public.

There is a bar on the beach as well as a surf school.

It is worth coming here for sports holidays, since the tourist infrastructure is less developed than in other resorts of the region.
