Klein Palace
Description:
Klein Palace is a beautiful neo-Renaissance house located in the historic center of Brno on Liberty Square. The palace is included in the list of cultural heritage of the Czech Republic. It was built for the owners of the metallurgical plant in Sobotin in the middle of the XIX century. The architects working on the construction of the building were brothers with the name Klein, from which the name of the palace was derived.
The facade of this four-storey house is unusual, cast-iron sculptures and ornaments are used for its decoration. Klein Palace is one of the most beautiful buildings of the XIX century in the center of Brno. The building now houses a library, a classical music department and a branch of the Czech Bar Chamber for Moravia, as well as a bank that was the main sponsor of the last renovation of the house, which took place in 1997.
