Piaristicki Square

Piaristick ná mě stí, Č esk Budě jovice

Description:

Piaristicke Square is located in the historical center of the city of České Budejevice about 100 meters northwest of the main town square Przemyšl Otakar II, with which it is connected by Piaristicka Street. The square was built on the site of a former cemetery that existed here from the XIII to the XVIII century.

From the south, the square borders the Sacrificial Virgin Mary Church, which is part of the ancient Dominican Monastery. Also on Piaristick Square are the Gallery under a stone frog and the South Czech motorcycle museum in an old Gothic house, which was built in the XVI century and is called the House of Salt.
