Description:
The sculpture of Frantisek, created in 1924 by sculptor Adolf Meyerl, is a symbol of the city and is located in the park next to the boarding house "Esplanade".
The sculpture is a statue of a naked boy sitting on a ball holding a fish. It is named after the healing mineral spring, thanks to which the city, founded by Emperor František I, acquired the importance of a world resort.
After that, the source became the main income of local water carriers, and the legend began to walk about the sculpture, according to which a woman who touched the big toe of the boy’s left foot will certainly become pregnant.
