Mount Ashted

Mount Yested (1012 meters above sea level) is the highest in the Yested Range. In 1907, the construction of a hotel was completed on the mountain, which was a powerful building, including 23 rooms, an observation tower, a restaurant and a veranda. However, in 1963 the building was destroyed by fire and could not be restored.

In 1973, a television tower was erected on the mountain, 93 meters high. Karel Gubacek worked on her project, for which he received the award of the International Union of Architects. There is a three-star hotel and restaurant in the TV tower. A funicular leads to the top of the mountain. There is also a ski slope.
