The Museum of Northern Bohemia is considered one of the largest museums in the Czech Republic. It has a rich collection of exhibits that tell about the life of the Czech people of the northern part of the country, since ancient times. There are various departments: applied arts, archaeology, industrial production, music, history and natural science.
The museum is located in a luxurious building created in the neo-Renaissance style at the end of the XIX century. In addition, the building houses an extensive library with an excellent selection of books on historical topics, telling about the Czech people, as well as a collection of scientific journals from around the world.
