The observation tower of the town hall in Ostrava will take you to a height of 86 meters, offering a beautiful panoramic view from four sides not only of Ostrava, the third largest city in the Czech Republic, but also of the Beskid Mountains, the Oder River and even parts of Poland. The Town Hall, built in 1930, is the largest city hall building in the Czech Republic.
In addition to the City Hall, the building houses a scientific library, the city information center and a branch of the Savings Bank.
In the evening, the tower is beautifully lit, which emphasizes its silhouette and a huge clock dial installed under the observation deck. The tower is open daily and equipped with an elevator.
