Happiness street

Stodolny street is located in the center of Ostrava and is a unique phenomenon of public life. All thanks to the fact that almost every house here is either a bar, or a restaurant, or a nightclub. Its popularity has a negative aspect – it is the growth of crime, so police officers often patrol here, and video cameras are also located for surveillance.

The street is crowded in the evening, when tourists, tired of excursions, or citizens flock here to have dinner or have a fun night. In 2006, it was reconstructed, and in 2007, an Ostrava metro station called Stodola was opened at the end of the street.
