Landek Park Gornitsky Museum

Gornitsky Museum Landek Park is the largest museum of mining in the Czech Republic. It is located in the town of Petrškovica five kilometers from the city of Ostrava on the slope of Mount Landek. Mount Landek belongs to a protected area, on its slopes there are several tunnels, some of them are open to tourists to get acquainted with the mining business and the opportunity to feel like a real miner during the excursion.

The most popular for inspection are the oldest mine "Anselm", founded in the XVIII century, and the Michal mine, where tourists will get acquainted with the underground path of any miner from the dressing room to the mining site. Here are presented real equipment, workshop, bathrooms of workers, boiler room and others.
