For small travelers and not only: the village of crafts Botanicus

I invite you to a fascinating and informative journey to a very unusual place - the village of traditional medieval crafts - Botanicus. This trip will be remembered not only for your children, but also for you. What awaits you? Not far from Prague is a small village (about 50 buildings), built so that we do not forget the joy of manual labor. But you will have the opportunity to make your wax candle (by the way, not such a quick thing; in order to make just a small candle - 1 cm in diameter - you will have to work for half an hour), make soap ONLY from natural ingredients, try yourself in the role of a potter, gold washer, weaver, blacksmith, try to weave a basket, make a doll, go through all the stages of making paper, pee with a real goose feather, shoot from a bow and learn almost all the wisdom of this difficult occupation... This is not the whole list of what awaits you here! If you are already full of impressions, there is an opportunity to relax and take a walk in the well-groomed, quiet parks and gardens or have a snack in the tavern, having tasted dishes of real Czech cuisine. Travel to Botanicus is possible from May to October, on any day except Monday.
