So, our walk through Hradcany and Prague Castle begins at the Strahov Monastery, which, in the Middle Ages, was the first on the way of enemy troops from the West, trying to conquer Prague.

Despite the fact that the monastery was often demolished, the monks managed to quickly restore everything. The monastery today is a complex that includes a library and a brewery.

Further, our journey will continue to the repository of the collection of liturgical treasures of Loret, a church that is one of the most visited pilgrimage centers in the Czech Republic. Here we will be able to admire the pompous Chernin Palace, which today is the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

And finally, Hradcan Square, which opens the entrance to Prague Castle, the political and historical center of the city, the residence of the President of the Republic. Here you will get acquainted with the monumental interior of the Cathedral of St. Vitus, the Royal Palace and Golden Street.
