Complement the feeling of “immersion in the past” visit the medieval castle Zvikov. This castle is stone, gloomy and harsh. Surrounded on 3 sides by water, Zvikov is an impregnable citadel. Strike powerful, wide walls of the fortress, several rings of defense. So imagine the medieval knights, dressed in chain mail and helmets, standing on the walls and staring into the distance, whether there are enemies. Ascetic decoration of the castle, constant cold, hunger and fear for their lives - these are the factors of life of our ancestors. They are felt even today, when you walk around the fortress and touch its walls.

And silence... Unearthly, ringing silence! No soul around. Only the dark waters of the Vltava, a deep forest reflected in them and stones that have seen much in their lifetime.
