Karlovy Vary and Brewer Krusovice

Description:

The Royal Brewer Krusovice is exactly in the middle of the way from Prague to Karlovy Vary. Today it is one of the oldest breweries in the Czech Republic, leading its history since the 16th century. During the tour you will be able to explore the historical and modern premises of the plant, as well as taste the dark and light beer of Krusovice.

The city of Karlovy Vary became famous far beyond the borders of the Czech Republic and even Europe, thanks to the healing power of its springs. At the moment, twelve healing geysers in the city are used for treatment. The temperature of the springs varies from 30 to 72 degrees Celsius, and the chemical composition of water varies depending on the carbon dioxide content.

The resort character of the city of Karlovy Vary disposes to rest and walks. You will walk along the Tepla River along the famous Karlovy Vary promenade, see magnificent colonnades and the Geyser spring, throwing out a stream of water for more than 12 meters. Among the guests of Karlovy Vary were many celebrities: the writer Nikolai Gogol and Johann Goethe, a scientist at the Pavlov Academy, and many Russian tsars, including Peter I. The house where the first Russian emperor stayed has survived to this day.

The excursion program can include a visit to the swimming pool with thermal water and the museum of the national Czech drink - "Becherovka".
