The dark kingdom of Hades. Kutna Hora, bone and Sternberg Castle
Description:
Welcome to a horror movie!
Have you ever been in a room made entirely of human bones? Chandelier of human bones, candlesticks, jewelry, pyramids of them...
Early 16th century. A pestilence ride across the country. Those who survived killed each other in the Hussite wars. There is no one to bury a huge number of human remains. And one half-blind monk comes up with a phenomenal idea - to build pyramids out of bones. What's the idea, huh? For centuries, people came here to look at this creation, to be surprised. And you can't say anything. Is it bad that our forefathers rest in an improper way... or is it good? As if "alternative art" ... self-expression ... will flow thoughts, a riot of fantasy. Had he not created these pyramids, there would have been nothing to see, nothing to wonder about, nothing to see. Here, please. Something that's amazing. And then his follower in the 19th century supplemented the interior of the church with a chandelier, the coat of arms of Schwarzenberg. Embellished, so to speak. I perfected it.
You will feel how you will feel. But it's worth seeing.
Gothic temple of St. Barbara. The biggest. Tall! Conquering with his power.
What is it? Silver was mined in the city. There was a lot of silver. Money is not measurable, respectively. So what's the big deal? And the local cathedral was erected “that’s such a height, that’s such a width” to be steeper than Prague!
But the silver ran out ... and that's it. And the rival city of Prague rolled from the pedestal, rolled, and at the mark “province” stopped. And we will look at everything that has survived to this day from its former power, glory and wealth.
