Old town
Description:
During our 2-hour walk we will get acquainted with the main sights of the right bank of the Vltava River, the sights of the Old Town of Prague, where, during the Middle Ages, there was a market, there was a merchant yard, where merchants - representatives of different peoples and religions gathered.
There were rules here. In addition to trade, various crafts were developed here, cathedrals and houses were built. They were built spontaneously, and that is why the Old Town has preserved many old curved streets. Our route will start from the Powder Gate, the last fragment of the fortress walls, and end with a visit to the Charles Bridge.
You will find an interesting walk along Celet Street, once used for coronation processions. You will see the house "At the Black Mother of God" with a statue of the Virgin and Charles University.
Our route leads to the Old Town Square with its Courants, and further to Charles Bridge.
