Prague

Prague in two days

Description:

Very often, guests who come to Prague for the first time do not want to be satisfied with a standard 4-hour excursion, but want to get acquainted with this ancient city more closely.

In such cases, I always suggest two excursions in two days. Although this is a short period of time, I will try to show you the maximum number of places of interest to you, secluded corners and majestic monuments of architecture and art, because Prague is proud of the fact that even in a week it is impossible to go around all the old quarters and see all its beauty.

We will start at Strahov Monastery and go down. You will see Loretan Square with the majestic Chernin Palace, Capuchin Monastery and elegant Baroque Loreta. On Hradchanskaya Square you will be surrounded by luxurious palaces of noble Czech families. And then you will find the Prague Castle (the residence of the Czech rulers) with the stunning St. Vita Cathedral. What else? Walk through the vineyard of St. Wenceslas, a viewing platform on the Charles Bridge and the embankment on the Small Strana and the narrowest Prague street Chertovka. And finally, you will make a wish on Charles Bridge.

The next day we will walk along Wenceslas Square, see the pearl of Art Nouveau – the Municipal House on Republic Square and the Gothic Powder Tower. And on the Old Town Square, you can tell about each building for a long time: the Prague chimes of Orloi, the houses “At the Minute”, “At the Stone Bell”, Storkhov’s house, the Golts-Kinsky Palace, the monument to Jan Hus and the temple of St. Nicholas. In the Little Square you will see the famous house “U Rott” (or “At the Three White Roses”), then the Jesuit complex Clementinum and Crusader Square, where I will tell you the secrets of Charles Bridge.

I hope this time will be enough for me to fall in love with you forever in this city and then dream of a new meeting with Golden Prague!
