Description:
I invite you to a sightseeing tour of the district of Prague - Royal Vinograds.
This is a unique corner of the city with architecture of the late 19th - early 20th century, begins just outside the boundaries of the Prague New Place. From the building of the museum on Wenceslas Square, we will begin the path along green avenues among buildings in the Art Nouveau and Secession style. We will see the neo-Gothic Cathedral of St. Lyudmila, a dramatic theater, whose facade is decorated with sculptural images of Truth and Courage, the cultural center of the district - the National House on Vinogrady, where Mayakovsky read his poems in 1927. We will visit Peace Square, Academician Pavlov Square and Czech King Jiří Square from Podebrad. We will admire the Church of the Most Holy Heart of the Lord, and in the end we will be able to climb the television tower to enjoy the views of Prague from a bird's eye view.
If you are not in Prague for the first time, this walk through the most lively and beloved by the Czechs district of the capital will give you new impressions and help you to learn more about the history of the city.
