Natural Reserve Czech Switzerland

Description:

I invite you to a unique tour of the protected places of the Northern Czech Republic on the border with Germany. The National Nature Park, due to its picturesque views called Czech Switzerland, stretches over an area of more than 80 km2. You are waiting for the amazing beauty of the mountain and the majestic and unhurried Elba, along which part of our path will lie.

From the picturesque settlement of Grzhensko, we will start climbing landscaped mountain trails to the Pravchitsky Gate. This unique natural formation is a stone gate created as a result of erosion of sandstone rock. The beauty of these places was captured more than once by films, it was here that the fabulous Chronicles of Narnia were filmed. Walking among the age-old trees, we will go down to the gorge, where we will have about 20 minutes of boating along the Edmund (Quiet) outflow among moss-covered vertical rocks.

During the route, there is also a time for lunch or afternoon. We will be able to drink tea in an authentic 19th century hotel "Falcon's Nest".

Pravna Gate is available to visit daily from April to October, from November to March only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. From December 26 to January 1, the reserve is closed.

Descent on boats along the gorge is carried out from the end of April to the end of October.
