Castles and more... I am
Description:
Now I will tell you about my excursion from Prague to Karlstej Castle and the amazingly beautiful Koneprussian caves.
The vector space of today’s voyage is as follows: Prague – Karlstein Castle – Koneprussian Caves – Prague.
A subset of this vector set will be all sorts of small pleasures scattered along the way.
So, the number one goal is Karlstein Castle, whose name is associated with Charles the fourth of the fourteenth century.
In truth, for centuries, there was a pond of Karls in Europe, and their serial numbers are a trauma to a healthy psyche.
The reason for the recurrence of royal names is not because of the paucity of imagination of parents, but because of the so-called dynastic names.
The serial number is a special label that allows you to distinguish between Charles, Louis and Wilhelms in one single country.
So, our Charles is the first of the Czech Charles and the fourth in the Holy Roman Empire, whose boss he was also some kind of.
The Czechs treat their Karl with touching piety, calling him the Father of the Motherland, and such a nameplate in itself is expensive.
Possessing enormous power, Charles IV made Prague the mother country of the empire, thereby giving a powerful impetus to the development of his beloved country.
Charles Bridge, Charles University, Karlovy Vary and much more are all well-known brands associated with the activities of this Czech.
Keeping the spirit of the romantic Middle Ages, Karlstein Castle was also built on his personal initiative.
Charles, the castle and the Middle Ages are dedicated to the first part of today’s trip.
Its second target is the Koneprussian karst caves.
Charles the Fourth had nothing to do with their appearance, but they are popular with the Czechs, almost like himself.
By the way, if the theme of castles and history feeds mainly the brain, then the “cave question” certainly fascinates the soul.
That is characteristic, until people learned to build homes, they huddled in caves, and, of course, because experts there find traces of their vital activity.
Ancient tools and rock paintings are unique sources of information and a great joy for scientists, but most tourists are much more impressed by the surrealism of cave forms and the magical sound of stalactite organs.
It's all going to be enough today.
Both in Karlstein and in the Koneprussian caves, local guides tell interesting stories with many fascinating details.
Ignorance of the Czech language is not a hindrance, since this problem has been solved everywhere.
And, however, during the whole trip at the right time will certainly be a suitable institution, where pour the right Czech beer and fame something to feed.
