Coffee shop "Slavia" is a traditional cafe 3 minutes walk from Charles Bridge. A favorite place of Prague bohemia.
The cafe is located in a large beautiful room with wide windows, with a beautiful view of the Vltava River. This is a historic place where actors and artists have met for coffee and spent the evening since the very first day of its existence. The former president of the Czech Republic Vaclav Havel was also a regular.
The interior of the coffee house is made in Art Nouveau style: marble tables, elegant chandeliers, onyx panels and cherries. Excellent, exquisite desserts, great cocktails and drinks, large portions – this place is perfect for lunch or just to have a coffee while waiting for a performance at the National Theatre, which is just across the street from the cafe.
