Well on the Small Square
Description:
In the center of the Small Square there is a functioning well covered with a wrought-iron handmade lattice in the Renaissance style, which was created in 1560 in the workshop of the court blacksmith Jörg Schmidhammer. This well is probably the oldest in Prague. A colored grille forged by hand is an example of workshop work. It is decorated with ornaments, and the faces of the grid are completed with figures of angels.
