Description:
The aquarium in Prague is a great opportunity for everyone to dive into the underwater world without leaving the city. Created in 2002, it has already become very popular, especially among families with children.
Prague is separated from the nearest sea-ocean by hundreds of kilometers. But this does not mean that residents and tourists are deprived of the opportunity to get acquainted with the mysterious world of the sea depths, because there is an aquarium here. The entrance is decorated with a huge shark mouth. Do not be afraid – step outside the threshold, and underwater depths in all their beauty and diversity will open before you.
In the darkened corridors there are illuminated aquariums, high ceilings are decorated with pictures of marine life, images on the floor move, it seems you make your way through the water column. The calming noise of the surf and some mysterious sounds from the depths only enhance these sensations. You'll see almost 350 species of fish, wonderful corals that don't just decorate the space - they're alive, growing and evolving, just like in nature. Around them flocks of fish of some absolutely incredible colors. The aquarium with a great sand shark is always crowded. Two-meter predator, of course, dangerous to humans, but here causes only delight. And you'll also see barracuda, stingrays, shrimp, jellyfish, turtles. In short, the aquarium will reveal to you the secrets of the life of the sea.
