Petřín Tower

110 00 Praha 1 - Mal Strana Czech Republic

Description:

Petřínská (aka Prague’s Eiffel Tower) was built in 1891 after members of the Czech Tourist Club visited France and were inspired by its Parisian counterpart. The Petřín Tower is five times lower than the Eiffel Tower, but it occupies an extremely advantageous position on the highest point of Prague.

To climb to a height of 60 meters, you need to walk 299 steps (although you can use the elevator). The tower offers a magical panorama of Prague - you can see all its sights, surroundings and hills from a height.

Especially spectacular Petřín Tower looks at night - its bright illumination attracts the attention of all romantics of Prague. The tower can be accessed daily from April to October. In winter, the entrance is open only on weekends.
