"One Man Street"

Between houses on Cihelna Street

Description:

The narrowest street in Prague. Its width does not exceed 70 centimeters and two passers-by will not disperse here (hence the name - only one person can fit in the aisle). Therefore, on both sides of the street is equipped with traffic lights with a button. When a person enters the street on one side, he presses a button, and on the other side the traffic light light lights up red.

In fact, it is not even a street, but an opening between two houses. The street is a descent to the river and for the convenience of pedestrians is equipped with stairs. Previously, these steps women descended to the water to wash clothes. Now at the end of the street is a small restaurant with a beautiful view of the canal.
