Museum of Toy Railways Prague
Stroupeznickeho 23, 15000 Praha 5 - Angel
About the company:
A small world of roads and trains named “Kralovstvi Zeleznic” hid in Prague near the Andel metro. There is the largest exposition of railways in Prague, and in the built models, night and day change, which makes them something quite fabulous.
Undoubtedly, the museum can be interesting not only for children, but also for adults. Marklin began producing toy sets for modeling railways in 1891. In addition to locomotives and wagons, the entire railway infrastructure was produced. Inside the streetlights are light bulbs, and at the bases you can see the switches.
In addition to the railways, there is even a large interactive model of Prague, where you can see how the metro passes under the city, how the Vltava spilled in 2002, how Prague grew up, where it has the narrowest street, the deepest well, the largest bell.
