Toy museum

The Toy Museum in Prague is a guaranteed journey into childhood for adults and a fairytale world for children. This museum contains one of the largest collections of toys in the world.

The fabulous beauty of the Czech capital finds its continuation in the museum, which is also other than fabulous. Part of the old house, given to the museum, only emphasizes the atmosphere of magic. Here you wait for a miracle, and it happens. Toys are all around you. They are different: large and small, old and modern, bright and completely inconspicuous. They have one thing in common: they give children joy, and adults – a painful and at the same time sweet feeling of nostalgia for childhood.

The creator of the toy kingdom was the director Ivan Steiger. He collected a beautiful collection, where there are dolls of literally all times and peoples, various designers, dear to our heart teddy bears, soldiers, cars and many, many more things, which even the name does not always pick up. A special part of the museum is dedicated to the Barbie doll. Here is the famous doll in all possible images. The number of these beauties is measured here in thousands. Not without Ken, Barbie’s main companion. And a lot of objects, without which Barbie’s life is simply impossible to imagine: her houses, cars, dishes, beautiful dresses and handbags – in general, all the attributes of a “beautiful” life.
