About the company:
The KGB Museum in Prague was founded by a group of people fascinated by the history of the powerful secret service of the USSR - the private non-state association "Black Rain". Thanks to this organization, many priceless exhibits related to the KGB have been found and preserved.
In the exposition of the museum, for the first time in the world, personal belongings of the leaders and top functionaries of the Cheka – OGPU – NKVD – NKGB – MGB – KGB were collected and presented. The exhibits of the museum were such unique things as Lenin’s death mask, Trotsky’s murder weapon, personal belongings from Beria’s office. Here you can see samples of small and chemical weapons, made using the secret technologies of the time, as well as much more.
The history of the officers' regular weapons is devoted to individual stands. A large number of products of secret laboratories and closed factories are presented - cameras for secret photography, tracking equipment, items for hidden information bookmarking, means for applying signal marks, as well as souvenirs and souvenirs handed to KGB officers on memorable dates, agent awards.
Part of the exhibition is dedicated to the event, infamously known as the “Prague Spring” – many unique photos from the streets of the city, made by KGB officers during the events of 1968. Unusual photos reflect the dramatic history of that time, the tragedy of a beautiful ancient European city.
