Magician's Museum
J nský vrš ek 312/8, 118 00 Prague 1-Mal Strana, Czech Republic
About the company:
More recently, in the capital of the Czech Republic, in the area of Mala Strana, in the famous "House by the Donkey", a new Museum dedicated to alchemists and magicians appeared. Here you can feel like a real Faust, if you just raise your eyes to the ceiling, in which a huge hole gapes. That's how the devil took the doctor.
Visitors to the museum will be able to see the laboratory of the famous alchemist - Master Kelly, who lived in this building. Here you will be told a lot about the intricacies of alchemy and magic, as well as about the mysterious objects associated with this difficult craft. King Rudolf II granted the alchemist the honorary title of “Baron of the Kingdom.” But when his patience with the gold was exhausted, he ordered the alchemist to be taken into custody. Kelly spent his last days in prison. However, there is a second version - that he was killed while trying to escape from prison. The materials of the museum exposition tell about the days of the reign of Rudolf II, about adepts of alchemy, famous magicians, as well as about various mysterious places in Prague and the surrounding area.
