Fountain on Dlow Street

Dlouhá 326, Tá bor

Description:

The fountain on Dloukhoi Street is located on the outskirts of the historical center of Tabor. It was built in 1795 next to house number 326 and is a stone bath attached to the facade of the building. A century later, the fountain was updated and carved images appeared on its front side. We do not know the name of its creator.

At one time, the fountain was considered one of the best in the city, but after a while the fountain faded against the background of others. In 2001, the fountain was reconstructed, costing the Czech state almost half a million crowns. To get to the fountain you need to walk from the square Jan Žižka on the street Zagradnitsk.
