Dukelský ch bojovní ků 1944, Tá bor, Czech Republic

About the company:

The Shechtl Vosechka Photography Museum is one of the youngest museums in South Bohemia, founded in August 2004. The museum exhibits photographs taken by the Shechtlov family. 60 photographs presented in the gallery document different aspects of life of the past and the century before. Voseček Schechtl (1840-1911) left his career as a clerk in Prague and began to learn the craft of photography.

In 1869, Voseček became an itinerant photographer who traveled through the Czech Republic and other countries. His son Joseph continued the tradition of his father, having studied as a photographer in Cologne, he opened a photo salon in 1907. Joseph Schechtle took pictures of presidents, artists, actors and other famous people of the last century.
