Lake Barbora

In the vicinity of the resort town of Teplice there are several unique lakes known not only in the Czech Republic, but throughout Europe. One of them is Lake Barbora, the water in which has healing properties, as it is replenished exclusively by underground mineral springs. There are many different types of fish in it. In 2005, an aqua resort was opened here, which annually attracts fans to frolic on the water and under water, as well as those who want to try the healing properties of Barbor on themselves. The lake has its own yacht club, which has about 40 ships, provided for use by tourists. Also Barbora is very popular among surfers and divers, there are often held various competitions, which attract athletes from different parts of the Czech Republic.

For lovers of a peaceful rest on the shore of the lake, the beach is equipped with sun loungers, umbrellas, small cafes and restaurants. The distance from Barbor to the center of Teplice is only 5 kilometers, you can get here by personal car or by one of the specialized shuttle taxis. This place is perfect for relaxing in the family circle.
