Description:
The Old Town Hall is located in the southeast corner of Peace Square near the Church of All Saints in Litomeržice. The first known written mention of the town hall dates back to 1397. During a fire in 1537, the building was badly damaged and was rebuilt by 1539 in a new Renaissance style.
The interior of the building has preserved beautiful medieval inner staircases and a meeting room decorated with reliefs of Czech kings and noble townspeople of Litomeržice.
On the corner of the building was a replica of the Renaissance sculpture, which stood here since 1539 and was a symbol of thriving local trade.
