Description:
Velke-Brezno Castle is located near the town of Usti nad Labem, it was built in the late 19th century in the style of the late Austrian Empire. The castle was built over 14 years for Count Karl Hotk, the highest burggrave of the Czech Kingdom. Small in size, but beautiful in appearance and chic inside the castle will present you the life of a noble family of the XIX century.
The interior decoration is famous for the dining room, the walls of which are decorated with wood carvings in the Renaissance style, an office, a mirror hall with a fireplace and rich moulding, a library, a ballroom and a family gallery. Around the palace there is a large English park, where you can see the pond, arboretum. The castle hosts chamber music concerts and various exhibitions.
