The city of Jachimov lies at the foot of Klinovets Mountain near the resort of Karlovy Vary on the border with Germany. The city is famous as a ski resort with the steepest downhill for professional athletes, whose height is about 1200 meters. In addition to this on the mountain there are other 6 tracks with different types of difficulty, there are 7 lifts. For cross-country ski lovers there is a prepared forest track. There is a snowboarding park on the mountain.
Children's descent and lift work for free. There is a ski school for beginners and children. Rent of sports equipment is open. On the mountain Klinovets leads funicular, with a total duration of 1685 meters, the trip takes 15 minutes. In winter, the funicular is used by hiking tourists and lovers of skiing, and in summer you can lift a bicycle on the funicular. The city has a number of hotels and restaurants that welcome guests all year round.
