Tatio Valley of Geysers

The Valley of Tito Geysers is located at an altitude of 4200 meters above sea level, 97 kilometers from the city of San Pedro de Atacama. At the moment, it is owned by local communities, they charge entrance fees and provide a variety of services.

The valley is a geothermal deposit of volcanic origin. More than 70 pillars of hot water rise sharply, forming about 60 pools, the soft edges of which are formed from mineral salts. Many tourists do not miss the opportunity to plunge into the thermal baths, which are also located in the valley.

Geysers in the valley show the highest activity in the early morning, columns of water at this time can reach up to 11 meters in height.
