The huge salt lake Atacama is located in one of the driest deserts in the world. Its banks are covered with thick salt cover, which in some places cracked, forming picturesque lagoons.

In one of the lagoons near the lake - in the lagoon of Chaksa, there are about five species of flamingos and many other waterfowl. And microorganisms on the banks of the Ghasa lagoon color the water in all colors of the rainbow.

The air near the lake is dry and transparent. The white salt valley with a deep blue lake looks very impressive against the background of the pink silhouette of the mountains.
