Church of San Vicente Ferrer

The Church of San Vicente Ferrer is located in Santiago, the capital of Chile. The temple is located in Los Dominicos Park, named after the Catholic Order of the Dominicans.

The church was built in 1849 and did not undergo any significant alterations in the following years. Only in 1877 in the bell tower of the temple were installed bells, specially cast in the port city of Vilparaiso. The main facade of the church smoothly passes to two towers crowned with domes, one of which plays the role of a bell tower.

In 1997, the church was severely damaged by a devastating earthquake. Restoration work has not yet been completed, but the church remains open to parishioners.
