Mount San Cristobal is one of the peaks in Santiago. This is a favorite place for walks, also around the mountain is the Metropolitano Park.
The height of San Cristobal is 860 meters. At its peak is a statue of St. Mary, who is considered the local patroness. On the mountain there is an observation deck, and in the park there is a botanical garden, a zoo and a wine museum, and at the foot of Mount San Cristobal there is a museum of the famous Chilean writer and Nobel laureate – Pablo Neruda.
You can climb the mountain both by car and a special lift - a funicular.
