Omore Park

While in Puerto Williams, you can swim on a yacht through intricate channels, look at the fjords and Cape Horn, ride a mountain bike. Interest for tourists is also the Omora Park, where you can see various representatives of the local flora and fauna.

This park is located 3 kilometers west of Puerto Williams on the north coast of Navarino Island. It includes representatives of various sub-Antarctic flora: deciduous forests, marshy plants, mountain plants and much more.

The management of Omora Park since its foundation has been trying to connect nature recreation with scientific activities. Therefore, today there is a center for research, education and wildlife conservation in the park.
