Valparaiso: a mosaic of the ancient port

Santiago for Chile is not only the capital - it is the territorial center of the country, an hour and a half from the city is the Pacific Ocean, to which we will go. The oldest port in Chile, Valparaiso is built almost vertically, and descends by a multicolored staircase to the coast. Some streets of Valparaiso are equipped with old funiculars, which still raise and descend residents and visitors of the city. Painted with highly artistic graffiti, which come to see from all over the world, filled with the spirit of freedom, Valparaiso meets multi-deck transcontinental liners, cargoes, warships and fishing vessels full of catch, sea lions, pelicans and gulls, tamed by fishermen, he is happy with all. Like any port, Valparaiso is a cosmopolitan city of the World, not surprised by anything, but able to endlessly surprise its guests.

In Valparaiso we will walk a lot, during a walk we will look at the beautiful bay from above more than once, at your request - in one of the restaurants of the city we will taste generous fresh gifts of the Pacific Ocean. Be prepared for a couple of stairs, cobbled streets, narrow sidewalks, ups and downs, old funiculars and the character of the city, which is read in every element of this large mosaic - Valparaiso. Riding along the surf line, with beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean, we will walk along the Viñe del Mar, after which we will return to Santiago, or take you to your hotel in Valparaiso, Viñe Del Mar, nearby Con Con Cone or Renac. ©
