Saona Island + Altos de Chavon

We offer you a comfortable and fun excursion to the island of Saona - the largest island in the Dominican Republic. You will find gentle tropical sun, turquoise waves and a sea of positive emotions. You will visit the snow-white island of Saona, which is called the pearl of the Caribbean. On the island of Saona you will find a delicious lunch and soft drinks. To the island you will get on a high-speed motor boat with a canopy.

Time spent on the island is 3 hours! We will provide you with sunbeds and a separate area for lunch and rest (without large tourist groups). You will be alone on the island for the last hour! On the way to Saona Island, you will stop in a natural pool where starfish live, as well as a walk through the mangrove forests! You will also visit the city of Altos de Chavon. It is a small town with features of Spanish and Italian medieval architecture. Here we will walk along the beautiful streets, visit the “Greek” amphitheater, on the stage of which in our time there are world stars, as well as one of the main attractions – the Church of St. Stanislaw, in which Michael Jackson and Lisa Marie Presley were married. The excursion to Saona Island starts from Punta Cana/Bavaro. If your hotel is located in another resort, then this will require a transfer fee. The number of people in the group is 20 (plus or minus three people). We want to draw your attention to the fact that sometimes a group can consist of 16 people or 23 people. This is due to the fact that there are additional people who want to go with their friends and go to the bus in the morning. And sometimes someone just doesn’t come out because they get sick before the tour. In any case, our bus is designed for 26 people and the boat for 32 people, and you will not experience discomfort. Since October 2017, the Dominican Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources has banned the extraction of starfish from water to prevent their extinction. Stars can only be touched and photographed underwater.
