Residents of Ecuador are preparing for the holiday thoroughly: who sews, who buys various costumes, masks. Great popularity are drawings on faces, both professionally executed in salons and "home production". And, in such a painted form, going to the store for residents of Ecuador is the norm.

The main festive show begins at six in the evening on the central streets of cities. In Quito, for example, this is the historic district of Amazonas Street. Kinkongs, witches, various evil spirits, as well as knives in the heads - this is already a common phenomenon and practically does not make such a strong impression on others. Each participant of the holiday seeks not only to outdo the costume of the neighbor, but also to scare as many people as possible.
