El Ejido and La Alameda Parks
Description:
In the city of Quito, which is located in Ecuador, there are many interesting attractions, for example, there are two parks that are located almost next to each other. This is El Ejido Park and La Alameda Park. The first park is notable mainly for artists who are conveniently located on its alleys, and the second oldest space observatory in South America and a monument to Simon Bolivar.
El Ejido Park is located between the northern part of the city and the colonial areas and often hosts various open-air art exhibitions. There are talented artisans and artists who sell works of their art at reasonable prices.
And on the territory of La Alameda Park there is a respectful monument to the 1st President of Colombia and Bolivia, the great fighter for the independence of the Spanish colonies - Simon Bolivar. Near the monument is the first observatory in South America and a small lake where you can rent a pleasure boat.
