Manto de Novia Falls

There is such an amazing place in Ecuador, near the Amazon basin, which is called the “Waterfalls Road”. It is called so for a reason: on the road from the city of Bonhos to the city of Puyo you can see about a dozen beautiful waterfalls, including the Manto de la Novia waterfall or “Bride’s Fat”. Of course, this name was given to the waterfall for its resemblance to this garment.

The waterfall Manto de la Novia consists of two waterfalls, its height is 40 meters. One of its main pleasant features is that it is quite easy to explore from all sides: there are many approaches to this waterfall. However, to get close to this waterfall, you need to cross the Patas canyon. This can be done in two ways: on a suspension bridge or on a cable car that stretches over the abyss.
