Sincholagua volcano
Sincholagua, Pichincha, Ecuador
Description:
Sincholagua is an extinct volcano located 45 kilometers southeast of Quito, the capital of Ecuador. This mountain is climbed less often than any other, because its foot, due to the surrounding mountain relief, is quite difficult to get close. However, those who have overcome all obstacles can enjoy spectacular views of the neighboring mountains and unique natural landscapes.
The view, which opens from the volcano Sincholagua, is truly picturesque, probably, therefore, despite the difficulties, the number of climbers who want to conquer it, from year to year only increases. By the way, the height of this mountain is not small by the standards of the Andes - 4893 meters above sea level, and at the top of it at any time of the year lies a sparkling snow cap.
