Intinyan Museum
M. Cordova Galarza Km 13.5 North Quito, Quito, Ecuador - Quito
About the company:
The Intinyan Museum was created to promote and promote the culture of the people of Ecuador. It is located right on the equator and marks the middle of the world. Here you can see various objects and monuments of Indian culture, an art gallery, as well as adaptations showing the influence of different latitudes on both sides of the equator.
The museum presents the scientific works of Umberto Vera, who studied the behavior and culture of local residents, their sociological, political and civic aspects of life.
Also on the territory of the museum you can visit the totem forest, where the creations of Indians in the form of stone sculptures of gods are presented.
No less interesting are the experiments presented in the museum, showing visitors the influence of different latitudes. For example, in one device you can see how in one drain hole the water flows counterclockwise, in another, in another latitude - clockwise.
